STEP 2- EXFOLIATE
This is one of the most valuable steps in the process as you remove dead cells from the surface of the skin. It can be beneficial for removing dry or dull skin, increasing blood circulation, and brightening and improving your skin’s appearance. However, make sure you do not over-exfoliate as sometimes your skin needs a break. Classic signs of over exfoliation are irritation, burning, peeling, breakouts (small pimples), redness or otherwise inflamed skin.
STEP 3 – TREAT/Serums
Treating your skin with a skin serum is nourishing and can elevate skin problems. It comes with visible benefits and perks. It allows the skin texture to improve by becoming firmer and smoother, leading to visibly younger looking skin. They are lightweight products that contain a high concentration of active ingredients and absorbs quickly into your skin.
After treating your skin, you may want to add an eye cream to your routine.
STEP 4-HYDRATE/Moisturizer
Hydrating your skin with a moisturizer helps to infuse your cells with nutrients that will improve the appearance of your skin. Water alone is not strong enough to keep your skin moisturized so applying a moisturizer will help keep your skin from drying out. Moisturizing your skin will help you to look and feel younger, you will also have softer and more elastic skin as it keeps your skin hydrated.
STEP 5-PROTECT/Sunscreen
This is the most important step in your skin care regimen, protect, protect, protect. It is important to remember to wear your sunscreen daily or you maybe putting your skin at risk. Ultraviolet rays are always present, and they are the causes of sun damage and skin cancer, and sunscreen protects every skin type. The most prominent benefit of sunscreen is it helps to keep the skin complexion even, sun protection from the harmful rays that can cause premature aging and reduces risk of cancer.
